Question

HI!,
I am new to the whole gardening experience. I live in an apartment that has a very small deck. The deck is on the west side of the building. Last summer I had flowers in pots that did not do very well - they lasted all summer but did not look very healthy. I was curious as to what kind of flowers would be best for a situation where their home is in a pot, and they only feel the sun after 2 p.m. or so. I do not want to have to explain my sick looking plants this summer, could someone please give me some advice? Even if you know of a website or some national franchise or something to go and talk to. I love flowers and would like to learn how to take care of them. Thanks so much!

Hi lorikay, the best advice I can give you is take a field trip to a good local nursery. Talk to them and they will help you as they are familiar with your area. Good luck!
