Is there a particular variety of tomatoes that will do well during the entire summer?

I did a Google search and came up with lots of hits.

Search "what variety of tomato is best for zone 9 in Texas"

Yes.....go to a local nursery and ask around. Also, get an INdeterminate tomato. It keeps going all summer. Don't forget about yellow or orange cherry toms.

"improved Porter" developed at Stephenville many years ago and proven to produce all season. A small tomato, but larger than a cherry tomato. Wife plants them every year with great results. We are in zone 8.
