Cool

I live in Florida and am renting a friends house... I re-arranged the outside patio and love where I moved the orange tree... It wasn't in direct sun to begin with, and I only moved it a few feet, but now it doesn't get any sun.. Is this going to kill it? It still looks ok, but I really dont want to kill my friends tree. Is this very indirect light ok or not? How much sun does it need? She also has a key lime and grapefruit tree..any help with them would also be appreciated.

Orange trees need sunshine

Container grown citrus trees, oranges, limes, grapefruits, need the same growing conditions as those in an orchard. Lots of sunlight and heat are important for the tree to prosper. Adequate moisture and fertilizer. You may find the article at http://www.naturalland.com/vv/vlarch/jan97/cit.htm interesting.
