Looking for misting nozzles

My winter vegetable Swiss chard is surprisingly doing well in the Texas heat except the leaves becoming curly. I would like to spray water directly to the leaves. What type of misting nozzles would you suggest? I don't actually need a mist. Rather a fine spray. Thank you

I only have 6 or 7 Swiss chard plants.

Misting will cool the plants but the constant moisture is going to cause disease problems. You can try building a shade structure to buy a little time but there are some plants that just can't take the heat and you are fighting Mother Nature to try. Lettuce, broccoli, cilantro, chard... are a few things I have to get going early so they can be harvested before summer's heat. If you plant too late there isn't much you can do other than view it as a learning moment and be ready to get in a fall crop.

Leafs are curling but not drooping ? I never have good luck growing chard, winter or summer. Are they going to seed ? Water droplets in the hot sun will magnify and cause marks on the chard. I have used a piece of cardboard and a stick in the ground, at just the right angle.....to shield things from the afternoon sun.

I thought the sptots on the leaves were made by insects. I never thought about burning. Thank you for the explanation. They haven't bolted yet. Maybe because I kept taking leaves. I am convinced now after reading your posts that Swiss chards will have to go. I will give up on misting and start a replacement vegetable.

My chard, cilantro and lettuce are done for the season. I'll time a second planting of them in late summer so they are ready to harvest in fall before it gets too cold.
