I'm having a heck of times with my Wisteria in my backyard arbor. I moved to the house last summer and was fine for the most part. This summer it is loosing leaves already like it is late October (I have to rake every couple of days). The leaves are turning yellow/brown and falling off. A local nursery said it was spider mites and suggested I use Malition (sp). I did that a few weeks ago, but I think the problem has gotten worse. The other day I tried Isotox.
Any other suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

I live in Chicago and the vines are about 7 years old according to neighbors.

Angry Wisteria loosing leaves

My wisteria also looks pitiful. I have a service to come and spray my trees and shrubs. And, I have mites! My red bud also looks pitiful. Spraying will only kill the living mites. The damage is already done to our plant foliage. There is nothing we can do at this point except spray. Malathion is a good insecticide. Next year we will be wiser and spray to prevent those hateful insects.
