Planting trees

Seems like I did everything wrong when I planted my Leyland cyprus two weeks ago. I took the 6' tree from the container and placed it in a hole about 4'' wider than the root ball. I did not spread the roots out. One tree has some brown needles. Should I dig them up and redo it or widen the hole or just leave well enough alone? Any help -except from the nusery that I bought the trees from and gave me little information on what to do- would be appreciated. Thanks

have you kept the tree well watered? For the first week or two you should have a slow drip hose on it for most of the day.
