Hi, I was told that what I have is dwarf veronica. It is blooming now and is violet (?). It always has bloomed well, but the stems 'lay down', starting at the center, but not completely. The flowers and part of the stems are upright. Do I need to 'cage/stake it'? Is this its normal habit? Thanks for any info.

Dwarf Veronica

Dwarf Veronica tends to grow like a carpet across the ground.

Thanks, but I looked at that and it isn't it. The stems measure 16" from the ground to the tip of the flowers. I've been searching ever since and still haven't found what I have. There 's a lot more to search, so I'll be busy for awhile.
