damaged drain pipe

While removing a stump near the house foundation we broke into a clay drainage pipe. Can a section of the drain pipe be repaired/replaced without having to excavate the whole length of the pipe?

Hi Kettman,

I'm guessing that you'll have to replace that piece of drain pipe. I don't know what they cost, but I can't imagine that it would be very much. Those drain pipes have a larger opening on one end to slip over the small end of the pipe in front of it. I can't imagine that any glue or clamp would hold it.

I do think you'll find the price to repair it is less than you think.
