What is eating my flowers?
#1

I have read several descriptions on problems with their flowers. They usually mention one type of flower that has the problem. I find if I plant Marigolds, Silvia, or coelus they will be stripped clean. If I plant them in planters, placed on the ground, they will not be touched. But nothing else in my annual garden is touched. If you think this could be it, how do I get rid of them. I have been leaving them alone.
I do have a large amount of box elders (they are about 1/2 inch long, black with red markings on them) Do you think they could be eating them? I haven't seen an earwing since we moved here. We were over run with them there but you saw them during the day when ever you lifted something, and always in the house.

I'm confused. To quote you:
"I find if I plant Marigolds, Silvia, or coelus they will be stripped clean. If I plant them in planters, placed on the ground, they will not be touched. But nothing else in my annual garden is
touched. If you think this could be it, how do I get rid of them. I have been leaving them alone."
Get rid of what? Are you saying that you do know what is eating your plants?
