How to ripen my lemons?
#1

Hello. I'm new to your forum and a avid gardener in my little yard in Western PA.
I have a Meyer Lemon which I have been growing in a container. I purchased it last summer when it had only 6 leaves. It is now about a foot-and-a-half tall and doing well except for one strange problem.
It has two lemons. One showed up last November, the other in January (while living indoors, obviously!). The lemons are enormous, but still very green. I though perhaps they would ripen in the summer sun, and the tree has been on my deck since early June..... still green.
What's the deal?

I found this link, it has some good info about the Meyer lemon times to ripen. You may find other good sources for the care and feeding of indoor Citrus with a Google search also.
