Outside grill hooked up to house propain supply line

Hi,

I wasn't sure where to place this thread, this looked like the best location.

I have a Weber grill on our rear deck; it was hooked up by a gas technician. The line runs from our tank, inside and then runs outside to our deck (because we have other gas appliances inside the house). I have heard that some companies no longer do this without stating a reason.

Should I be concerned that this is dangerous? The grill is not near the tank.

If all the piping and connections were properly made in accordance with the applicable codes then this is no more hazardous than any other gas appliance.
