Reznor UDAP60 won't light

Have a Reznor UDAP60 natural gas heater in my garage. Was running fine, then made a cracking sound. Turned it off and back on and it won't light - doesn't even try. It activates, can hear the fan come on - but no clicking trying to ignite.

If I let completely cool down it will light and run for around 5 minutes, then back to not lighting, it cycles through like it is trying to light - but still no clicking sound or gas smell.....

Any advice on how to troubleshoot?

In the link below is a diagnostic routine.
It shows the ignition board and its fault light. It should be blinking a code.

So when it is cold, it functions perfectly until it heats up. Will die in 20-30 minutes and then both lights go out. I turn it off and on again, then it blinks green like it is supposed to, starts the fan and the fan just runs for 30 seconds and shuts off, it waits 5 seconds and just keeps repeating that with green blinking light. Will start again after its cold.

If you follow the diagnostic routines on page 35...... you've got a problem with the control board. Otherwise when the flame failed you should get a green light flashing a certain code. The yellow light is strictly for flame sensing/ burner control.

Follow the flow chart on the bottom pf page 35 to confirm.

That is what I was thinking too, the boards for this cost more than the whole heater.

There doesn't seem to be any used boards around for sale, so I am guessing this is the primary cause of failure on these units...
