Angry Gas Stove Burners Only Light with Match

I have an older 4 (top) burner gas stove. Each burner used to light "automatically" i.e. without having to use a match. But each, eventually, succumbed to the "match needed" syndrome.

Does this have something to do with the pilot light? Or? Seems like this problem should be easy to rectify? Please help!

Is it a pilot ignition model or use a (clicking) spark ignition system?

If it is a spark ignition system, your symptom could be caused by dirty spark electrodes on the burners, defect ignition switches on the burner valves, a defective spark module or defective wiring between them all (less likely).

If it is a pilot ignition system and the pilot is still lit, if could be caused by plugged gas ports on the burners.
