Hello: James

If there isn't objects in the jams and the hindges are not loose or damaged, very possible the brackets are damaged in side the the cabinet frame.

If the oven is a built in oven only appliance, the cabinet will have to be removed from the wall to access the hindges, springs and brackets.

If the stove {range} is a free standing unit, the parts can be accessed thru the oven or broiler side panels, etc.
