How long should a dryer last

it all depends..

It depends on how many loads you run in the dryer...

Amount you spend for one.
-If you buy a cheap model, it may last you a short time, and less warrenity.
-if you spend a little bit more, your going to get a better built unit, and better warrneity...


A good dryer should last you a good 10 to 15 years if you take care of it like keeping the unit inside/under it free of lint. A good vent system also.

Also I would get the larget capcity dryer you can afford. A 7 cu. ft capcity dryer will be about the biggest you can get now days.
