Kenmore Gas Dryer

Does the Kenmore Model 90 Series Model 110 76901690 have a fuse or circuit breaker? Our gas dryer will run but has quit heating and we have checked for the exhaust vent/duct being clogged, we have checked both silinoides for continuity and they both have it but we don't have a wiring diagram to see if this model has a fuse or not so we are sort of stuck right now as to what is wrong. Dryer is 8 years old and were thinking if its not a fuse and we have to have Sears come out and fix it we might as well get a new one. Any advise or help would be grealty appreciated.

Hello: Vanessa. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

If the dryer runs but there just isn't any heat, the hot surface ignitor may be burner out. Replace the part and retest. No fuse in the machine.

Read the existing questions on the subject of dryers which do not heat. Doing so will provide you with the instructions needed to replace the hot surface glow ignitor.
