Kitchen Aid Gas Range Sealed Burner Installation

I need to change the actual burners installed in my Kitchen Aid Gas Range, how do I regulate the air shutter of each burner so the flame will be the correct type. Is there a specific position for this shutters? Is there a correct color of the flame produced by the Burners?

Thanks a lot

Hello: Luis. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic & the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

All sealed burners, that I am aware of, do not have air shutter adjustments. The air intake is preset by design opening. No shutter is installed.

If the stove is not a sealed burner type, the shutter will be on the back end of the burner tube. Shutter has a tiny screw securing the shutter. Adjust till all the yellow is out of the flames color than screw the small screw.

Burner orifices control the flame size. They are also preset for the fuel type used. They are only changed when fuel type is changed. Sealed burner models are not easy to make changes to for either a fuel types or orifices. As a result of not having air shutters that can be adjusted.
