Smile Lost instruction manual

I need to know if there is a pilot that needs to be lit for my dryer. It's a Kenmore, ( older model ) the part number for that part of the dryer is 695919, unfortunately that is all I have.

Please help!

Hello cfd. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

Dryers have not used pilots for many many years. The dryer uses a hot surface glow ignitor.

Is there a problem with the dryer? If so, explain the problem in detail. Use the reply button to add additional information or questions. Doing so will automatically move your question to the top of the forums list of questions.

It's always adviseable to clean the entire exhaust venting system every 2 years. Or during any dryer maintenance, connection and or repairs.
