New frigidaire gas oven

I just installed my new frigidaire gas oven model # FGF334BGWJ- The 4 burners on top ignite and work fine. When I turn the oven on the igniter turns bright orange but the oven broiler never lights. It is a brand new oven. Is there something I was supposed to open or release when installing it?
Thanks,
Sol

Hello Sol and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliances topic.

Generally speaking, the appliance is setup to operate without any need to turn open any valves or safety devices. Such may not be the case in this instance. I suspect the oven burner isolation valve may be turned off.

The valve will be a tiny one located on the gas supply to the ovens burner control. That supply tube will be coming off from the main inlet supply on the appliance. Trace back to the gas inlet from the oven burner control valve. Look for a tiny lever valve that will be inline from the gas source into the burner control valve. That shut off valve may be turned off.

Look for the appliance regulator where gas supply enters range. Many new applince regs have an isolation valve built into them (only controls oven). It may take a mirror to see the bottom of reg or just feel around. Look for a small lever .
