spa care
#1

We are moving into a house that has a spa already included. I'm not sure that we want to go to the expense of a service guy coming to the house a couple of times per month.
Most of the people that I know outside of CA do their own basic spa care. Is there a good book on this?
Thanks for your input.

Hi:Muffy
No need to hire a service person. You can learn to maintain the spa.
A visit to any pool supply store will find all the needed information booklets and supplies. I suggest buying a water testing kit.
Basically there are a few items that need to be done.
Keep it covered when not in use.
Maintain the correct chemical balance.
Run the filtering system daily.
Cleaning the filter.
Return here for other postings and tips from those with spas who can add more detail.
