Help
I have a 20 year old kenmore gas dryer that is very noisy...i'm wondering if it is worth having a technician come out to repair or would it be better to just buy a new dryer..any suggestions..i suppose they would want 80 to 150 dollars to fix anything today..it is rumbling like the drum is lopsided or the motor is off it''s mount. It still works fine but sure is noisy. and help will be appreciated Thanks clueless in detroit.

Hi:cup23

Your twenty year old dryer has served you well. Your logic is correct, it may not be worth fixing.

The noise is worn drum rollers and bearings. Including the labor, it may be a wise decision to replace the unit, if you can.

Good Luck,
