oven door

My door came off the hinge on one side no parts seem to be broken but the spring is to tight I can't get it back on the little bars again.HELP

Hi:MACHRISMA

If I understand your problem correctly, the lever that slides into the oven door is being held tightly against the oven door frame.

If so, you'll need to pull it out until it stops about 1/3rd the way out. Then slide the door downwards onto the lever just as the other side is.

All ovens should have a partially opened stop position designed into the bracket. This is the location where the lever needs to be to install or remove the door.

Some oven doors have a lever lock on the door to secure the lever into the door. If yours has this type, open that lever lock by pulling it out with your finger. Then insert the springed lever into the door slot, close the lock lever on the door and the door should now be correctly installed.

If you ever want to remove the door, open the door to the partially opened position and lift the door straight upwards. Replace it by reversing this proceedure.
