Gas Dryer Connecters
Im having a problem with my new gas dryer, Im connecting as per the old one (ie. 3/8" (I think) coil supply directly to the dryer), and there is a very slight leak where the soap is bubbling up a little bit so we can't use it until this is sorted. The supply is also off (fyi).
The leak is coming from the back of the nut which is being connected to the dryer. I have looked on the instructions on the coil feeder pipe and it states not to connect straight to the dryer.
What do I need to do? Buy a gas valve to connect in between the coil pipe and the dryer, or is my coil pipe just faulty? Im using the gas teflon tape also which has helped a little but not much.
Thanks
