gas stove hook up to tank

Can I connect a three year old kenmore gas stove to a tank to create a rarely used in-law kitchenette suite?

Hello sprovinse and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliances topic.

The answer is yes. But only to code and if code allows it. Strict rules apply in many areas. And rightly so. Safety concerns. Propane is explosive. All codes must be met to insure your safety. And those in the house.

Check with the local code office in your area, a licensed plumber whom does this type of work or hire a professional.

Cautionary Note:
Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.
