Maytag Gas Dryer, noise

I have a Maytag Gas Dryer, "Plus / Heavy Duty Electronic Dry Control" Model: LDG8624AAE S/N: 161269650B.

We have had this dryer for one year. I have cleaned it once. Not nearly enough. It is making some strange noise. So, I have it out in the frount room. I have searched on the internet for a service manal but not luck. I came acrose this web site and thought I could get some help.

The noice is not a metal sound. I can reproduce the noise by turning the drum and when it stops it sound like "rumble rumble rumble rumble" a low sound.

Well I'm worried if I keep using it that it will get worse. We would call a service company, but I have lost my job and we don't have any funds for a repair company.

I'm thinking if I have a service manual I can fix the problem my self and if I need a parts, I can get them on the internet.

Thanks in advance for your help.

this may help. if you turn the drum by hand with the power off can you hear the noise.?
are you able to remove the belt and try to isolate the noise.
could be money stuck behide the drum and the back wall.

Yes, when the machiene was on the noise was present. When I turn the drum by hand and then stop it would make the noise for a few seconds and stop.

I just finished takeing it all apart. I found that the exit fan is loose on the motor shaft. I think I need a new fan. It does not sit tight on the shaft.

on the fan is this info.... Maytag 3-12913

Where can I get this part.

Thanks,
me
