Switch from LP to Natural?

I bought a used Magic Chef gas range which I guess to be about 5 years old. It is currently set up for LP and I want to switch it back to Natural Gas. Can anyone help? Thank you

Hello scotty18. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic.

To convert to another fuel source usually requires an orifice replacement or an adjustment. Depends upon make and model. Most of the newer models have adjustable orifices. All oven thermostats have some feature to convert the device. usually located under the temp knob.

Also a conversion of the existing gas appliances regulator. Some regulators must be totally replaced while others have a lever or some similar device built into them to move to another position to complete the conversion.

More fuel conversion info can be found reading many of the existing questions in this forum topic on the subject of fuel conversions as well as the sticky note. Link below.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.

Cautionary Reminder Note:
Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.
