Dryer duct knocking?

For the past 6 months or maybe even a year, the dryer has been making a strange knocking sound when the wind blows. I have no idea what the noise is coming from, but its annoying. i had thought there should have been some flap or something that goes inside the vent shroud on teh outside of the building (the duct exits the building on the wall right next to the dryer. any ideas why wind is going inside my vent? is it my dryer that needs fixing?

Wink

You can try another vent outside that has a better fliper in it. But you say when the wind blows. It would mean that the wind is blowing into the home and out the dryer vent pipe. Check and see if you can find where the wind comes in from. Before winter.
