Installing a gas oven

Hi
I have the same problem as tamalone (6.10.00) re installing a gas oven. I have never done it before and obviously want to make sure it is safe.
It is a freestanding gas oven not an in built cabinet.
Any advice?

many thanks

Need Far More Specific Details

Hello Cheswick15. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic.

tamalone (6.10.00)????????
If the above pertains to posts within the archives of years ago, I cannot go back to read that post. Much too time consuming.

Let us start fresh with re-installing your appliance.
If it was simply disconnected, re connect it as it was.
If disconnected and parts used prior are damaged, missing or need to be replaced, start over. Buy all new parts.

Not mentioned fuel type used. Important to know. Not all appliances are connected the same. Some connected based upon fuel type used and local codes etc.

Nor sufficient information about how appliance was connected, why was appliance disconnected and what happened to parts used to connect it before appliance was disconnected, etc.
