Hello CBickel. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

If you're referring to the lint filter screen holder in the door panel, you will need to remove the entire front panel from the machine.

To do this, look for screws either in the door frame or at the base of the front panel. May have screws in the door frame and at the base of the front panel.

Or clips between the top panel lid and front panel. May have 2 screws at the base with two clips between top panel (top of machine) and front panel.

Several possible variations may exist depending upon machine brand and model. Once front panel is removed, access is possible to the area where filter screen is located.

If this is not what you mean by "dryer baffle" use the reply button to post what you mean, all replies, add additional information or ask additional questions.

Be sure the electrical power to the appliance is turned off, before attempting any repairs or services.

DRYER SERVICE TIP:
It's always advisable to clean the entire exhaust venting system every 2 years. Or during any dryer maintenance, replacement and or repairs.
