Question maytag dryer gas to lpg conversion question

i just purchase a new maytag dryer, mod. MGD5620TQ0, i changed the oriface and plug. how do i go about adjusting the burner flame? the only access is through the front which disables the dryer operation. there is a hole view in the front lower left. what is the ideal color of the flame? after i converted it, or so i think, there is still a little bit of yellow flame and roaring flame noise.

It sounds like the flame pattern is what it should be but it shouldn't be a load roar. If you've dryer has it, there will be an air shutter adjustment at the base of the burner near where is slides over the burner orifice. The shutter will likely need to be closed up about a third of the way from the completely open position.

Instead of tearing the dryer back apart, check to conversion instructions to see if it's mentioned.
