Nexgrill BBQ gas:no spark at igniters
Hi, Orginally placed this under the outdoor forum but you here seem very knowledgeable about igniters generally. Have 2yr old Nexgrill propane BBQ gas grill. Use to turn the knobs all the way counter clockwise, got rapid sustained clicking sound and gas would ignite. Suddenly would only get 2 or 3 clicks, not the sustained clicking. Then no clicking but if you really turned the knob CC hard, 1 or 2 clicks and maybe get lucky and gas would ignite. Now. nada--no clicking sound at all. Started w/one burner, then two now all don't work. Nexgrill parts supplier said change the battery box. Did. Still, no igniter spark. Next they sent me some new wiring (clips connected in series) but it coes not match anything that's part of the grill. Put in new battery/box, all igniters look good, wiring looks good. The igniters do not match those on the Nexgrill web site so the trouble shoot video no help. Wife refuses to start with a match or the butane type lighter, Scares the living whatever out of her plus it is pretty messy way to light. I am stumped. Is it possible it's the actual gas valve? Any suggestions really appreciated.
Thanx Bill

not familiar with THAT grill, but the igniters are notorious for failing. they get grease on them after a while and will not spark. clean them GOOD and re install. soak them in a grease cleaning solution(NON-FLAMMABLE).
