Kitchen stove

This is my first post so be patient. I am getting a new kitchen stove today which is gas. I need to convert to propane. Does anyone have any idea how to do this or do I need to pay someone to do this for me. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

Hello mckaskle. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

When the new appliance arrives, read the owners instructional manual. In it will be the proper steps to take for a fuel conversion. Not all fuel conversions are done exactly the same for each appliance. Varies by manufacturer.

Generalized Fuel conversion info here:

"Be sure the electrical power and the gas supply to the appliance is turned off, before attempting any repairs. Always check for gas leaks whenever the appliance is installed, moved and/or a repair includes any connection of a gas part."
