frigidare gas cook stove

I have a frigidare gas cook stove, recently we converted it to propane from natural gas. Now the oven flames are very high and when we use it the house is filled with the gas smell and burns our eyes it is really bad, what can we do to adjust it? thanks

When you converted it, did you convert the oven burners?
To do so you need to turn in the brass orifice hood (at the base of each burner) clockwise until snug. This will need to be done with both the broiler burner and oven burner. Failure to do this will cause high orange flames, excessive soot and an all around hazardous situation.
