Whirlpool oven dead during selfclean

Whirlpool Gas cooktop & Range
Model# GW395LEPSOO Accubake 3yrs old

OK, I am totally FUSTRATED!!!! My wife turned the oven self clean option on and surprise...half way thru the self clean the oven went dead, front panel went lifeless but top burners still work. After reading lots of threads I now know never to usse self clean option. Previous to the self clean the bottom burner was having difficulties lighting, sometimes taking a half hour to light. I replaced the bottom burner and igniter and oven still dead. Checked switch on door and it OK. Replaced main control module and still nothing. Today I replaced the igniter module and still nothing!! Please help as my wife is getting choked with me and the food not getting any better.

Hello lotuslander. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

Have you called the Whirlpool customer service phone number? Might be helpful to do so.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.

Hi there, thanks for the quick response.

I have checked out several of the sites before posting a question and have seen the exploded view of parts. It seems other people have had the same problem but either I have missed how they fixed it or it was many different things.

How many things can shut down the whole touchpad and oven?

Is there a way to check the oven thermostat with a multimeter?

Thanks
