Cool Kenmore 90 Gas Dryer No Heat

I have been reading other Threads about the Kenmore 90 Gas dryer and have not been able to identify the fix I need. The ignitor is getting red... I have also checked the Thermal Fuse and now I don't know what to check.

Wrong forum. You may get more hits in the gas appliances forum.

IMO, first ohms test the ignitor to make sure it really can get bright and hot enough. It should glow brighter than just red. Ohms should be in the 25 -100 range, approximately, if good.

If that is not it, you might have a bad spool-type solenoid on the gas valve. These can be taken off and replaced, without replacing the valve, if you have that kind.
