Question

Question: Can I remove and replace one 8" electric element on my electric range with a propane fired burner? Would like to run in a line from a 5 gal bottle rather than expense of buying a new gas stove and adding a propane system. Can anyone recommend a low profile single burner that would fit?
Thanks.

Hi:jo-seppi

Sure it's feasible. But not very practical nor cost effective. You would spend hours designing and installing a retrofit since none I know of are commerically availible.

Best solution I could think of would be to purchase a single or double burner propane camp stove.
