One of the gas stove knobs is "frozen" and we can't turn on the burner. Any suggestions on fixing the problem.

Hi:LFurstein

Best bet is to have an appliance service person oil, regrease or totally replace that valve.

There are several different types of burner valves. Some cannot be fixed, others aren't worth the time to fix and there are others <ususally on older appliances> that can be fixed.

Without knowing which type can or cannot be fixed, having the proper tools, technics and training, this job is best left to those who know.

Try contacting the local gas company you buy from. Many offer appliance service.

Good Luck,
