gas dryer won't heat

I have a 6 yr old Kitchenaid dryer that won't heat. The air is blowing out the vent and everything else is working (except the timer). Any ideas?

Hi,
If the timer is on the "auto" cycle..it won't move without the heat working...so the timer may be ok :-)
Things that can stop the dryer from heating:
- glow bar
- gas valve
- timer
- selector switch
- burnt wire
- thermostats
- motor heat switch
Loads of info in the dryer sections...
