Angry

I have seen some other threads on this subject, but none that were quite the same as my situation. Whenever my range top is plugged in, all four ignitors click-click away, sparking at each burner. I generally live with the range top unplugged to avoid this, but need to plug it in for the oven to work. Any time I am using the oven, click-click-click. Occasionally the clicking stops - any advice?

Cool

Hello,

Some things that can keep the sparking going on the surface burners:
- bad spark module
- miss wired ( esp the polarity )
- cracked/broken switch ( under the knobs )
- pinched wire

Probably the cracked broken switch(s) is the most common....you can see some pics and such in the gas range sections....

Hope this helps,

jeff.
