Hi,
Many things can stop a gas dryer from heating...no reset button!!
Some common trouble makers:
- glow bar
- gas valve
- gas valve coils
- thermostat(s)
You can read about gas dryers in the gas dryer sections...

Hi:kathi
Even without knowing the brand or age of this dryer, I can tell you there isn't any reset button on any dryer I have even seen.
What usually happens is the glow coil fails to glow.
Check all the selector settings on the front control panel to be sure they are set correctly.
If they are and your handy, turn off the gas, remove the electrical plug from the wall socket and carefully remove the burner assembly.
Then take the whole assembly down to your local appliance retail parts store. Request they test all the componets on the gas valve and replace any that are defective.
Then carefully reinstall the burner assembly, connect all the wires, soap test the gas connections, replug it in and test it. Should work just fine and you just saved yourself the labor costs.
Good Luck,
