Jenn-air seg196 Fan/Light Switch

Hi, I need to replace the fan/light switch on my Jenn-air seg196 range. When I removed the old one (which had fallen to pieces) I made a wiring diagram, but now that I have the new part, I can't seem to find my diagram. Would anyone have a wiring diagram for this or know which color wire goes to which terminal on the switch?

Hello sbaylus. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

Somewhere, often out of most common area of visual sight and/or hidden on the appliance, will be a wiring diagram. Might be in the back of the appliance, tucked away in a frame rail, behind a front or rear panel or under the top lid, etc. You'll need to search around and look for it. Unless someone before you needed it and did not replace it or did but not in the same location, etc.

You might be able to obtain a print out of the wiring diagram from a local appliance parts store. Especially if you purchased the part at the store. Often times in my prior experiences, the retail store is willing to provide such help to satisfy their customers and keep them coming back to their store. Better known as "Customer Service."...
