Whirlpool stove works, oven doesn't

We have a 5 yr old Whirlpool SF368LEPB range. All 4 burners on the stove work fine. Neither the Bake or Broil in the oven works. When I set the oven to bake, I hear the normal two clicks, but it doesn't light. When I set to broil, I hear/see nothing.

Hello keajohns and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and the Gas Appliances topic.

Very likely the Hot Surface Glow Igniter isn't glowing at all or as it use to. Very likely needs to be replaced. Any easy do it yourself repair for a handy person. Already many threads in this forum topic on the same subject with replies on how to replace the igniter and several other possible causes for the same condition. Reading them should provide all the info you'll need to resolve the problem.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores in your area can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.

Additional Suggestions:
Read the manufacturers on line web site for product information, problem possibilities, causes, solving methods, part locations, disassembly, reassembly methods, repair procedures, pictorials, schematics, repair and or owners manuals which may be available on line.

Cautionary Reminder Note:
Before attempting any cleaning or repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.

separate broiler/bake igniters

It seems unusual (to me) that both igniters would fail at the same time, especially since we rarely use the broiler. I will go ahead and replace both and let you know what happens. Thanks for the help.
