Amana Stove Burner Won't Light if Other Burner Already Lit
I have an Amana gas stove/grill. All four burners light independently. I can also light one right and one left burner successfully. However, if I light the top-left burner and then try to light the bottom-left burner, the bottom-left won't light and no spark even shows.
The same occurs if I light the top-right burner and then try to light the bottom-right burner, the bottom-right won't light and no spark even shows.
In both cases I can use a match to light those burners, so gas flow isn't the issue. I can also reverse the burners in those steps and the same problem now happens with the reverse on the same side (ie., I light the bottom-left burner ok, now the top-left won't light).
I suspect this has something to do with the spark module since the spark doesn't light on the same-side burner if a burner on that side is already lit. Very strange, I didn't think a lit burner would have any effect on the spark module. Anyone have any ideas?

Hello surfer6. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
Humm! Interesting and unusual condition...
One possibility may be the sparking element rod is in contact with the burner flame. If this condition is present, the spark module will not re-charge to light another burner. Lit burner flames must not be in constant contact with burner flames.
Above condition only applies if the spark rod (element) is located directly next to the burner flame on that model appliance. Not so if the spark rod is centerlly located between burners...:NO NO NO:
Suggestion: Go to any local appliance retail appliance parts store in your area and inquire if this condition is common with this brand and/or model of appliances. Parts counter sales persons will usually know since they wholesale parts to local repair service angencies and repair persons.
You may also want to call Amana's customer service number below and inquire about the condition.

Retail appliance parts dealers can also help determine what the possible problem may be also. They will need the make, model an serial numbers. Appliance parts dealers are an excellent source for original replacement parts. Dealers are listed in the phone book under appliances.
***If and or when you attempt any repairs, "Be sure the electrical power to the appliance is turned off, before attempting any repairs. Always check for gas leaks whenever the appliance is moved and/or a repair includes any connection of a gas part."
