Gas dryer with LP conversion kit

I have a gas dryer I want to hook up that has a LP conversion kit in it already. However, I don't use propane. Therefore I wanted to know whether it would be alright at the moment to run the dryer on Natural gas until I get it converted back?
I know it may take longer to dry a load of laundry because the heat value of propane is higher and this dryer has the conversion kit.

Not a good idea to do as you mentioned. You never even mentioned what year dryer is nor the model number is. How old is this machine??? If less then a few years old, buy an entire natural gas control valve and install it rather then a conversion.

More to it then just what type of fuel is being used or flame size or dry time, etc. Convert dryer back to natural gas prior to using it. Doing so will insure proper and safe operation.
