Kenmore Dryer Thermal Fuse keeps blowing

I have a 17 year old Kenmore Dryer. Recently, due to a clogged exhaust the dyer over heated. I unclogged the exhaust and removed the back of the dryer and cleaned out the inside of the dryer. Then when I went to restart the dryer it ran for about 8 minutes and then cut off. I replaced the thermal fuse and tried to run the dryer again. It ran and then shut off at approximately the same amount of time. I then replaced the thermal fuse again as well as the cycling thermostat. It again began to run and shut off at the same amount of time even though it was set at a lower heating temperature.

When it is running there is good airflow to the out side of the house. The dryer heats but then shuts off and does not restart.

What am I missing and how can I fix this problem?

Disconnect vent from back of dryer and try it that way, also while doing it feel the air coming out of dryer, Should be same at outside of house, Usual reason thermo fuse blows is clogged vent. I have seen a shorted heater element to the case causing that (very, very rare)
