no ignition spark

Sears 5 burner stove. Two back burners, no spark when I try to ignite. Interestingly (for me anyway), when I try to ignite one of these burners, the front burner on that side Sparks, a does the Centre burner. I know that the center burner always sparked when igniting a side burner, but don't recall if the front always sparked when igniting the back. I have already cleaned the ignites with a brush, to no avail. Any ideas?

You did not say what stove you have but it is common that all burners' ignitors will spark when you turn one on. First I would look under the burners and top for a broken or disconnected wire. There is usually just one wire going to the ignitor.

On some ranges the spark line is all tied together like Dane mentions.
On other ranges.....there is one common spark module with wires to each location.

Please see this thread.

Otherwise....a model number for your stove would be needed for further help.
