Thermador UCV30AS/01 Downdraft Won't Raise

The relay board, 418319, checks out. The button board could be the problem. Any advice based on experience with this Cook N Vent downdraft?

I have limited knowledge on this system.

Are the buttons lighting up or not ?

If they are not lighting up there could be a power supply failure on the main board or you could have a broken wire between the board and the button assembly.

Since the unit won't rise and all but the rise button are on the side, I can't tell if all buttons are lit. Having said that, I'm not sure any of the buttons ever lit.

There don't appear to be any broken wires.

Do you have an actual schematic for that product ?
I don't but will try to locate one.

Since you have a moving mechanism.....the wire moves too. That was the reason I suggested a broken wire.....and it doesn't need to be visible. It could be one conductor in a multiple wire cable.
