I have an existing stub to my patio from my homes natural gas line.
The stub is a short length of capped 1/2" pipe with no valve etc.
I want to connect a natural gas bbq grill to this stub.
Besides a shutoff valve and flexible line between the stub and my grill is there anything else I will need (or is reccomended) like a anti-flashback device etc?

Welcome to the forums.
I don't have the answer for you on an anti-flashback device. That maybe a local code item.
I'll look further.
