Kenmore gas oven wont heat range works fine

i have a kenmore gas oven and about 3 months ago the oven stopped working, our broiler is on bottom and it doesnt work either, however i know there is gas getting to it as the range works perfectly fine, ive been told that it might be the oven sensor but i thought i would ask others opinion and cant ask any electricians locally, around here they wont tell you unless you pay them utter bs really, lol anywho any idea on what it might be? or any help diagnosing it, i only have basic tools nothing special like meters or anything, thnx

Welcome to the forums.

Well......you don't have to pay me

Just to clear up a little confusion..... you said broiler on the bottom. Bottom of what ?
Usually in an oven the oven heat comes from the bottom and the broiler comes from the top.

I doubt it's the oven sensor since that has no control over the broiler.

Leave me a model number for your unit so I can look up some info on it.

Without looking up the unit......and if it's an electronic display type unit......the control board may be defective.

My Kenmore oven and broiler does not work. Cooking burners work fine. When I try to turn on oven or broiler with the touch panel the temperature for both go to max automatically. The heat elements on both the oven and broiler do not glow.

Gas or electric ?
I'm going to need a model number to help you further.
