Gas range pops GFI outlet breaker

Hello

I have a Frigidaire gas stove/oven that pops the GFI outlet whenever I try to use oven. The stove burners work fine and the electronic ignition for them does not trip the GFI.

Model Number: FGF326ASF

Thank you

Jerry.....I moved your thread from the electric appliance forum to the gas appliance forum.

Does the GFI trip the second you activate the oven ?

This problem will probably take an ohmmeter to find. You could possibly have an ignitor touching ground or a shorted to ground gas valve solenoid.

You could lift up the access cover and make sure ignitor isn't touching metal. Turn power off first and be careful as ignitor is very fragile and will crack.
